Description

Help us understand how plants respond to climate across the Southeastern United States!

Plants flower at different times depending on local temperature and precipitation, but how do different species respond differently to these cues? I am searching for an answer to this and other questions by determining the phenological (i.e. reproductive) state of flowers from the sunflower family (Asteraceae) in the Southeastern United States.
