Crowdsourcing for Conservation & Climate Change Research @ NYBG

The New York Botanical Garden is a world leader in plant research and conservation, using traditional and cutting-edge tools to discover, understand, and preserve Earth's vast botanical diversity. For 125 years, we have endeavored to share the insights we have gained with scholars and the general public. Now you have the opportunity to help mobilize biodiversity data from preserved herbarium specimens to advance scientific research!

Incentives

Virtual participants in Biodiversity Unleashed citizen science expeditions can earn benefits as official New York Botanical Garden volunteers, including: Free NYBG admission (All-Garden Pass) for participant +2 guests / 20% discount at the Garden Cafe, Visitor Cafe, and Shop in the Garden / Borrowing privileges with the LuEsther T.
